About Jesse
Playing music in front of a live crowd for 6 years taught me exactly which skills survive the glare of the stage lights. I operate as a chill mentor for teens and working professionals who want to move past basic theory and start performing.
My BFA in Music Industry from Belmont University gives me a deep foundation in how the business and art collide in real settings. I have spent 13 years refining my own craft in venues across the country. My teaching style relies on encouragement rather than rigid structure. Most of my students appreciate that I keep things grounded in actual musical application.
I have worked with hundreds of individuals to help them find their own sound. It is rewarding to see someone finally grasp the technique that makes their playing sound authentic. I prefer to keep my teaching practice intimate and honest. The process just happens.

You start by booking a free trial session where I assess your current level and listen to what you want to achieve on the instrument. We sit down with my guitar and portable amp to establish a baseline of your barre chords and electric technique. I will evaluate your strumming patterns and lead guitar skills while observing how you handle improvisation. My 13 years of stage experience ensures that we focus on acoustic technique and reading tabs that you can actually use.
You will find that I prioritize musicality over perfection during every moment of our time together. I adapt the session to meet the needs of my performance focused students. You will walk away from our first meeting with a clear sense of what we need to work on.
I make sure the learning curve feels manageable and fun. The progress seems to just happen.
