About Daniel
Songs you want to play become reachable goals through my simplified arrangements. You will see how lead guitar and ear training fit into the music you already enjoy listening to. The focus stays on performance and playing real parts that sound like the records.
This is not about boring drills because we spend our time on music theory that actually explains why your favorite riffs work. I prefer to keep things casual and joke around while we fix your technique. Seeing a student finally nail a difficult passage is the best part of my week.

Playing in 6 bands and releasing 3 records keeps my hands busy enough to know what actually happens on a real stage. I have logged 16 years of playing so I can help returning learners and self-taught players find the structure they missed. It is funny how often people struggle with the same tone issues I fought for a decade. Teaching is just hanging out while I share the shortcuts that save you hours of frustration.
Most of my time is spent dragging my amp and pedalboard into homes across the metro area. I usually end my day covered in guitar picks and smelling like old tubes.
