The smell of fresh wood polish on a guitar still reminds me of my very first practice session in a quiet basement. I turned those early sounds into a career spanning 13 years of instruction.
My Master of Arts in Music Education helps me break down complex theory into manageable pieces for kids and teens. I teach everything from power chords and chord transitions to advanced electric technique. My students learn to read tabs, master barre chords, and handle basic tuning and maintenance.
I have helped 255 students find their rhythm through blues progressions and creative songwriting. I also emphasize improvisation and soloing to make the instrument feel like an extension of your own hands. My approach is grounded in solid technical foundations while keeping the creative process front and center. I am always happy to chat about your musical goals and how we can achieve them together.
