About Sable
My journey with guitar began with a strong passion for rhythm, melody, and storytelling through music. I completed a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance and have 8 years of teaching experience working with students of different ages, backgrounds, and musical interests. Over time, I have developed a teaching approach that combines structured learning with creative exploration, helping students build both discipline and artistic expression in a balanced way.
My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, clarity, and gradual skill development. I believe every student learns at a different pace, so I adjust my lessons to match their comfort level while still encouraging steady progress. I focus on helping students understand not just how to play, but why techniques work, so they can become independent and confident musicians over time. This approach builds long-term skill rather than short-term memorization.
Outside teaching, I continue to explore different guitar styles, practice advanced techniques, and study modern and classical compositions to expand my musical understanding. These experiences allow me to bring variety, depth, and real-world musical insight into my lessons. One of the most fulfilling parts of my work is seeing students grow from hesitant beginners into confident players who can perform, express, and enjoy music freely. That transformation is what constantly inspires me to improve as both a musician and an educator.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students develop strong technical control while also building creativity and musical expression. I teach chord transitions, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, rhythm accuracy, scale practice, tone control, basic improvisation, and musical phrasing. Each concept is introduced step by step so students can understand it clearly and apply it with confidence. The goal is to balance technical skill with expressive playing so students grow as complete musicians.
Students are guided according to their level and goals. Beginners focus on basic chords, rhythm stability, finger placement, and simple strumming patterns. Intermediate learners develop smoother chord transitions, fingerstyle fluency, timing accuracy, and expressive playing techniques. Advanced students work on improvisation, solo performance, advanced fingerstyle pieces, and musical interpretation. Students preparing for performances or exams receive structured practice plans designed to improve accuracy and confidence. Continuous feedback ensures consistent improvement.
Learning guitar should feel enjoyable, creative, and motivating. My lessons provide a relaxed and supportive environment where students can explore music freely while building discipline and consistency. Over time, learners begin to develop their own musical identity and style. My goal is to help students not only play the guitar well, but also understand music deeply and express themselves with confidence in both practice and performance settings.
