About Aubrey
I’ve been teaching guitar for more than ten years, guiding students through the rewarding process of discovering their musical voice. My teaching blends technical clarity with creativity, ensuring that every learner feels supported and inspired. I believe music should feel personal, not mechanical — so I help students connect emotionally with what they play. Whether it’s building stage confidence or mastering a new technique, each lesson is about expression and growth. Outside teaching, I perform, record, and collaborate with other musicians, drawing on diverse influences to keep my lessons fresh and relevant. Sharing that real-world energy with students is one of my favorite parts of teaching.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students build both technical skill and expressive freedom. Each session focuses on tone, rhythm, and interpretation, balanced with exercises that nurture creativity and personal connection to music.
Beginners learn foundational chords, strumming patterns, and melody basics. Intermediate students explore improvisation, stylistic techniques, and finger coordination, while advanced learners refine phrasing, articulation, and performance preparation. Lessons adapt fluidly to every learner’s pace and goals.
I aim to make guitar learning enjoyable and motivating, encouraging students to explore music that inspires them. Together, we develop technical mastery, stage confidence, and genuine musical identity.
