About Kathleen
Playing stages for 22+ years taught me how to handle a guitar when the pressure is high. I started out just like you, figuring out what actually works under a bright spotlight.
Dealing with everything from gear failure to nerves helped me shape my current style. I have worked with hundreds of students ranging from curious kids to dedicated advanced players. Helping others find their own sound keeps me motivated to keep playing. Hope to see you in the practice room soon.

Steady growth comes from clear feedback and setting a manageable pace. Regular progress checks help ensure you are actually improving your rhythm and technical proficiency. We will use a monthly recorded review of your progress to track your development on electric technique and theory. These videos provide a clear look at where you started versus where you are headed now.
You will gain a solid grasp of barre chords and complex strumming patterns through constant repetition. My background in gigging means we focus on rhythm guitar and real stage readiness. Tuning and maintenance are also part of the routine to keep your instrument performing well.
Ear training will become a regular habit during our time together. Preparing for grade exams requires dedication and I provide the structure you need. Playing music should be an honest and rewarding experience.
