About Andrew

Music captured my attention early through the scratchy vinyl records of jazz greats that sat in my childhood home. Studying at Musicians Institute Hollywood revealed that technique should serve the song rather than just the ego.

I spent 11 years refining how to blend guitar and voice so they feel like one cohesive unit. Working with kids who are just starting out requires a specific kind of patience that I have cultivated over time.

Intermediate learners often come to me when they feel stuck in a rut with their practice. Advanced players find that my methods help them refine their phrasing and feel. I have taught a wide variety of students over the last 11 years.

My goal is to see you perform your favorite pieces with complete confidence and ease. We will work together to ensure your musical goals are met.

About the lesson

Fluency in fingerpicking and blues progressions allows you to express yourself clearly on the fretboard. You will notice how understanding scales and modes transforms your ability to navigate the guitar neck comfortably.

Ear training exercises help you connect what you hear in your head to what your fingers do on the strings. My Diploma in Music Performance ensures that our work on barre chords is grounded in solid mechanics.

We will use free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class to keep your progress moving forward. Seeing these complex elements align into a beautiful song remains the most enjoyable part of our time together. You will leave every session feeling more capable and inspired than when you arrived.
