About Miles
How do you want to sound when you finally step onto the stage? I start by evaluating your current ability to ensure we build the right foundation for your specific goals.
We will perform a diagnostic skills check before building the lesson plan to address your gaps in fingerpicking or lead guitar. My 6 years of experience at Berklee inform how I teach tuning and maintenance as well as ear training.
I focus on steady pacing so that your progress remains consistent throughout our time together. You will get feedback that is honest and direct. We will see how it goes.

Sitting in a studio after my first tour gave me a fresh perspective on the technical demands of being a professional musician. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Berklee and have spent 6 years of experience refining my craft while helping 185 students. Music is a language.
I work with advanced learners and returning players who need structure to push through plateaus. Some people just need a nudge. My background allows me to break down complex electric technique or blues progressions into manageable steps for any teen or self-taught player. I am very confident in my ability to explain the fretboard.
