About Gary
"Making music has been my central occupation for 8 years. I possess a BA Music degree from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music.
My teaching style is upbeat, practical, and patient. I work with students who want to build a real foundation.
Most people find that technique is just a gateway to better expression. I specialize in ELECTRIC TECHNIQUE and acoustic fundamentals.
You will learn to manage tuning and maintenance with ease. Ear training helps you hear the music before you play it. Mastering barre chords will open up the entire fretboard for your playing.
Reading sheet music provides a map for your progress. Chord transitions become smooth and natural over time. I look forward to hearing about your musical interests and goals."
