About Watkins
You will hear the precise note ring out clearly against the backing track. We examine blues progressions and lead guitar techniques to build your confidence. My 13 years of experience allow me to break down complex music theory into manageable segments for hobbyists. I incorporate my Licenciatura en Guitarra Flamenca training to ensure your hand positioning is ergonomic and effective.
Every student receives a monthly recorded review of their progress. This keeps the technical goals in sight. It is a satisfying way to track your development over time.

Coffee and chord charts define my mornings. I am a working musician. My life revolves around the Latin alternative sound, from Café Tacvba to Jorge Drexler. I hold a Licenciatura en Guitarra Flamenca from Mexico and studied at Berklee College of Music.
These credentials help me bridge the gap between academic theory and the grit of a rock stage. I enjoy helping self-taught players find a cleaner path through their scales. Let us make some noise together.
