About Benita
"Open mic regulars started asking me how I played certain lines, so I began teaching to share what I had learned. Playing acoustic sets across the South and Southwest for 9 years shaped how I explain the instrument. With 13 years of experience under my belt, I now teach improvisation, soloing, and complex music theory.
I also cover reading tabs, grade exam prep, barre chords, acoustic technique, fingerpicking, and basic maintenance. My approach is honest and hands-on, built on my 362 students' progress. Trust your hands to a teacher who actually plays."
