About Carlo
I've been playing music since I was a child. My family had a little upright piano in the house, so I fell in love with music immediately. I studied piano for five years before finding out that the rigid world of classical performance wasn't creative enough for me. That was the point when I dove head first into the world of Blues Guitar. There is something deeply beautiful about birthing a melody that never existed before that moment.
In the years I grew as a musician I expanded my interests and now I listen to, study and play various genres of music, including but not limited to Jazz, Rock, Blues, Fusion, Funk and R&B. I spent three years in the UK for University. In those three years I had the chance to play in multiple Jazz bands which was the practical glue to my previous theoretical study. Furthermore, I studied with many teachers who gave me a lot of different perspectives on the world of teaching music.

The core of my method is that the world of music is much too vast to have a rigid program that works for everyone. More specifically, I believe that the guitar is an infinite instrument. It's so expressive that with experience it's easy to tell a top guitarist from another, just by hearing them play. It's also extremely versatile, you can play any genre with it, with almost no exceptions. This is the reason I strongly tailor the program to my individual students.
My mission as a teacher is to free each student's inner voice, by getting to musically know them deeply and finding the musical elements that inspire them the most. Depending on the student, this can be accomplished by a study of songs, music theory, improvisation, technique, composition, psychology and more.
Students of any level, age and style are welcome, the most important necessity is the love for music.
