About Jonathan
I structure my lessons, usually on a weekly basis, stressing valuable and necessary practice habits to ensure steady and strong development on the guitar. I perform myself, often playing up to 30 songs in a given evening, using all the same lead and rhythm guitar and vocal technique that I pass on to my students.

I have a well developed and proven guitar teaching technique, with students ranging from 9 to 68 years old. Live in the greater Chicago area? Come out and see me perform regularly, singing and playing guitar.
I love nothing better than seeing my students achieve steady improvement, while learning to appreciate the guitar, and expanding their understanding of the fretboard and music theory in the process.
