About James
I have a bachelors degree in Jazz Performance from Montreal's McGill University, I've played in a large number of ensembles in styles ranging from rock and pop to jazz and avant-garde.
I'm also an experienced educator and am in the process of completing a Bachelors of Education at McGill. I am passionate about playing and teaching, and I love to extend the gift of music to my students.

I've trained in music conservatory's and in rock band garages, I've played jazz in downtown clubs and punk rock in college kid basements. I've had a wealth of musical experiences and educations, I have theory and practice, I have technique and passion, and I want to pass this on to you.
Lessons are for all age levels and all experience levels
Lessons cover a variety of subjects such as ear training, song learning and fundamental technique. My goal is to make you a REAL musician, someone who can pick up the guitar and play anything with anyone, anywhere, and anytime.
