We work on lead guitar, blues progressions, and those tricky barre chords together using real world musical contexts. Reading sheet music becomes second nature once you understand the rhythm underneath. Just play. I hope you enjoy the journey into the nueva-cancion sound.

Rhythms keep me grounded because they represent the pulse of the homes I grew up in. The scent of polished wood and the humidity of a South American evening always cling to my fingertips before I start playing. My 12 years of gigging in Australia taught me that music is a cultural conversation rather than a dry academic exercise.
As a self-taught guitarist, I prioritize the feeling behind the strings over rigid technical perfection. I incorporate elements of bolero, flamenco, and chacarera into everything I touch. Teaching allows me to share these distinct styles as an integrated package of history and sound.
You might find me correcting your grip or explaining the migration of a specific melody across borders. My approach is meant to keep your hands moving and your curiosity high.
