About Leah
"Sitting in a practice room at the Eastman School of Music, I realized how much structure transforms raw sound into real music. Since that time, I have guided countless students through the intricacies of grade exam prep and electric technique. I have taught 12 years.
Songwriting and rhythm guitar are central to my practice. Helping people find their unique voice on the instrument is pure joy.
I love watching students master strumming patterns and complex improvisation. These skills provide a solid foundation for any aspiring performer. It is truly rewarding to see someone move from simple curiosity to confident soloing."

"Sometimes I admit that rhythm feels more like a puzzle than a set of notes. My teaching style blends deep theory from my Master of Music degree with the practical strumming patterns you actually want to play.
We spend time on improvisation and soloing to ensure you feel comfortable on the stage. I offer a 10-minute free trial session to assess your starting level before we commit to a plan. We cover electric technique and songwriting to build your confidence. Do you have a favorite song that you have always wanted to play for an audience?"
