About Matthew
I studied Classical Guitar at the University of Wisconsin while simultaneously playing in a popular local metal band. I also took three semesters of jazz improvisation including an advanced independent study. I've been playing and writing music for 30 years and never stop learning, which makes me a great teacher.
The biggest problem with online music education is overcomplicating things when learning how musical elements fit together should actually make things simpler. This is the core of my musical philosophy.
