About Nola
Graduating from Berklee remains the baseline for my 9 years spent helping students in Chicago. Working with 200 plus guitarists feels natural when you focus on how the fretboard actually functions during real songs. Blues and rock styles dictate the flow here.
Improvising starts immediately. You get the pentatonics and the shapes before we touch a single theory textbook. My style keeps things light while staying structured enough to ensure you play cleanly.

Guitars hum immediately. We start by building your technique through lead guitar patterns and power chords that sound like the records you love.
Ear training and music theory happen organically as we map out blues progressions and fingerpicking patterns together. Tuning and maintenance issues are covered so your gear always performs well. Preparation for grade exams is available if that suits your current goals. Having 10.0 out of 10 ratings from previous players makes me confident that electric technique and soloing will click for you as well.
