Joshua is inspired and excited about teaching! And it’s contagious. Every time I come away from a lesson I’m excited about what I’ve learned, what new thing he has given me to practice and how even as a beginner we have created music together. He plays chords behind what I’ve been practicing, which is often just finger exercises, and it’s magic! He wants us to play songs I like and I’m interested in learning. Everything is challenging but doable. He’s encouraging and compliments me on what I’m doing well. He gives me ideas on how to accomplish things I’m struggling with.
