About Jerry
"Music provides a language that connects us beyond the written page. I teach because watching a student finally master a difficult chord transition brings me immense joy.
After spending 13 years performing as a classical vocalist, I applied those same rigorous standards to my guitar instruction. I help you navigate ear training and music theory so that reading tabs feels like second nature instead of a chore.
My lessons incorporate electric technique alongside improvisation and soloing to keep things dynamic. We also tackle the technical hurdle of barre chords until they ring out clearly. My MMus Voice background from Guildhall ensures that I listen with a trained ear to your progress, and I hope you enjoy the process as much as I do."

My 194 students benefit from the structured approach I developed through 13 years of active performing experience. I offer a free trial session to assess starting level for every potential student.
We spend time on music theory and ear training to sharpen your overall ability. My approach focuses on practical skills like reading tabs and electric technique.
We will also work on improvisation and soloing during our time together. Mastering barre chords is a significant milestone that we can reach through consistent, focused practice. My goal is to keep you engaged by balancing technical drills with actual musical application. It is truly rewarding to see how quickly students progress when they have a clear sense of direction."
