About Guillermo
Folks who struggle with keeping a steady groove usually reach out to me for help. Truthfully, I spent 13 years refining my own sense of rhythm just to stop dragging behind the beat. I teach rhythm guitar, songwriting, scales and modes, and lead guitar to those who want to play with real feel.
We also handle reading sheet music, improvisation and soloing, and barre chords to fill in the gaps. It is genuinely fun to watch someone finally hear how these technical pieces connect into a real song. After working with so many players, the best part is still seeing that lightbulb moment when the music clicks.

Players often get stuck trying to separate their hands when they should be moving in sync. Imagine sitting down with your instrument and feeling the entire song lock into place during your first 8.0 minutes of practice.
Because I hold a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music, I focus on integrating voice and guitar as one solid unit. I design a specific practice module with every lesson to keep your momentum high throughout the week.
We keep the material focused on your own compositions or classic tracks to ensure the application is immediate. This approach turns isolated technique into a cohesive performance style. You will finish our time together playing music that actually sounds like a record.
