About Faith

I am a guitar tutor with 12 years of experience, holding a B.Mus in Classical Guitar and Modern Performance Studies. My love for guitar began with its ability to tell stories through melody, harmony, and rhythm. Over the years, I have taught students from first-time beginners to advanced performers, helping them grow with confidence and creativity. I believe guitar learning should feel inspiring, structured, and deeply personal.

My teaching style balances technical discipline with expressive freedom. I help students build strong rhythm foundations, develop tone awareness, and explore lead phrasing that feels authentic. Lessons are adapted to student goals, whether they want to play casually, perform confidently, or write original music. Feedback is always supportive, helping learners improve without pressure.

Outside teaching, I remain connected to guitar through composing, arranging, and exploring new musical styles. Teaching is fulfilling because I watch students transform into confident musicians. My goal is to help learners find their voice through six strings, building musical independence and pride that lasts.

About the lesson

Guitar becomes exciting when students feel both technical growth and personal expression in every lesson. My teaching focuses on building strong foundations in rhythm, chord fluency, tone shaping, and expressive lead playing through engaging and practical methods. I use storytelling, humor, and real-world music references so learning feels enjoyable and memorable. Students explore bending, vibrato control, solo phrasing, and musical dynamics in a way that feels natural rather than overwhelming. Each session creates a supportive space where learners can experiment freely while still progressing with structure.

Lessons are tailored carefully to each level. Beginners start with posture, basic chords, smooth strumming, and timing confidence through simple songs. Intermediate learners develop barre chords, fingerstyle patterns, scale understanding, and stronger improvisation skills. Advanced students refine solo expression, tone control, performance preparation, and creative songwriting techniques. I also guide learners in building stage confidence, helping them feel comfortable sharing their music.

Guitar lessons build confidence beyond the instrument. Students develop patience, creativity, emotional expression, and pride through steady improvement. My goal is to help learners feel empowered in their musical voice and excited to keep growing. Each lesson becomes a step toward freedom, joy, and lifelong connection with guitar.
