About Talon

I am a dedicated guitar instructor with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and over 8 years of teaching and performing experience. My journey with the guitar began as a teenager, driven by curiosity and passion, and has grown into a lifelong pursuit of musical mastery and sharing that joy with others through teaching. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students of all ages and skill levels—helping complete beginners build their first chords and guiding advanced players through soloing, theory, and performance techniques. I believe that learning guitar should be both structured and flexible, with lessons tailored to match each student’s pace, interests, and goals. My teaching style combines technical instruction with creativity and personal expression. I emphasize core concepts like rhythm, chord progressions, and fretboard knowledge, while also encouraging students to explore improvisation, songwriting, and genre-specific techniques. I aim to make every lesson practical, motivating, and musically enriching. Outside of teaching, I stay active in the music scene through live performances, collaborative projects, and continual learning. I bring that real-world experience into every session, helping students gain not just skill but musical insight. My goal is to help each student grow into a confident, well-rounded guitarist who truly enjoys playing and creating music.
