About Martin
I am educated to Masters level (composition/performance) in Canada, the USA and the UK. I have performed over 1500 gigs.
I have a lot of experience producing, recording and mixing, which I hope will make my teaching interesting and informed by the practical as well as the theoretical.
I love experimenting with guitar sounds and techniques. I love guitar pedals and ways to make the guitar sound otherworldly.

I’ve known Martin for 4 years, and in that time he’s been my lecturer, collaborator and we’ve played in two bands together. I’ve always trusted his opinion when it comes to all things music, particularly when it comes to music performance, where he is no novice. I can also tell you from personal experience that he’s not only knowledgable in Music performance but is able to pass on this knowledge in a way that can meet all ability levels.
