About Aria
I discovered my passion for guitar early, captivated by its expressive possibilities and versatility. I earned a B.Mus in Contemporary Guitar Performance and Music Composition, which equipped me with advanced training in performance, technique, and pedagogy. Over 11 years, I have guided students from beginners to advanced musicians, helping them develop technical proficiency, improvisational skills, expressive interpretation, and confidence in performance.
I teach with patience, attentiveness, and encouragement, tailoring lessons to each student’s abilities, interests, and goals. Lessons combine technique, repertoire exploration, improvisation, and performance preparation, emphasizing both skill development and expressive creativity. I encourage independence, self-expression, and confidence, enabling students to cultivate a personal musical identity.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged in performance, composition, and exploring new guitar techniques to enrich lessons. Teaching guitar is deeply rewarding because I witness students transform from tentative beginners into skilled, expressive, and confident musicians, gaining both technical mastery and a lifelong love for music.

Intermediate learners expand to scales, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, barre chords, and stylistic exploration. Advanced learners refine performance technique, soloing, improvisational fluency, composition, and recital preparation. Each session incorporates guided feedback, hands-on exercises, and reflection to ensure measurable growth and musical development.
