About Finn
With over 9 years of experience teaching Guitar, I specialise in helping college students learn in a motivating and practical way. My lessons focus on technique, rhythm, and playing songs that students love, making learning both useful and enjoyable.
I use modern tools like backing tracks, recording exercises, and improvisation sessions to make lessons interactive. Music theory is explained in simple terms, so students can immediately apply what they learn to real playing. I also encourage creativity, helping students experiment and develop their own musical voice.
My teaching style is patient, goal-oriented, and supportive. I’ve seen students improve quickly, gain confidence, and even perform at college events. Each lesson is designed to help students progress steadily while enjoying every moment of learning Guitar.

My guitar teaching methodology focuses on creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I aim to make lessons personalised, engaging, and effective. I encourage students to explore different styles, experiment with techniques, and even write their own music to express their creativity.
As a mentor, I guide students patiently, provide constructive feedback, and help them develop confidence and self-discipline. Critical thinking is integrated into every lesson by teaching students to analyse songs, understand music theory practically, and solve musical challenges independently.
Accountability is a key part of my approach. We set clear goals, track progress, and celebrate successes to ensure steady improvement. Lessons are a mix of exercises, practical playing, and creative projects that keep students motivated.
In addition to guitar, I teach music theory, composition, and improvisation. My ultimate goal is to cultivate confident, creative, and independent musicians who enjoy learning and performing music at every stage of their journey.
