About Pascal

I'm 22 and the first time i picked up a guitar was 8 and got really serious in my teens, putting lots of time into being the best guitar player i can be and i knew i had to practice a lot and read lots of material and internalize lots of techniques, concepts, and especially learn as much music from my favorite bands as i can. I started teaching around when i was 19 to my friends and stuff and have been teaching at guitar center for the past year. The best feeling as an instructor is to see someone that didn't know how to even hold the guitar to be able to play almost any song they want after just a couple of months, and that's just getting started. The progress is all up to you, if you work hard and practice a lot you can get very good very quickly.

About the lesson

I teach from beginners to advanced level in a very direct style. Explicitly explaining a concept, and then working with the student to help memorize it and learn how to put it to use. In a class i will explain the subject to a student and how they should practice it outside of the class. Afterwards, in the next lesson we would revise to see if the student is grasping the subject or if it needs more work. I teach simple and easy in the beginner stages so a student wont be overwhelmed and we slowly work our way into more complicated subjects. My goal is to have a student not just be able to play but be able to understand what they're playing and how it works. As my student I hope you are ready to absorb lots of material and practice practice practice...
