About David
I have been a classroom teacher for twenty years. I have worked in public and private schools. I was choir director at my last school, directing and accompanying the choir. I have been offering after-school guitar lessons for 5 years, working with students from 8-13.

My teaching method is student oriented. I like to make playing the guitar a joy, not a task. i like to start by showing my students a few simple chords, and the playing. We go at the speed of the class or individual. I like to build up confidence and trust with my students by finding out what they like to listen to, then learning those songs. if we are learning something new together, it puts us in a similar famework.
