About Christopher
I have been playing guitar for 35 years and have taught dozens of students over the last 20 years. I have a well rounded music background with a B.A. in Ethnomusicology and a certificate in Music Therapy and am always learning new things about the deep world of music.

I approach my lessons with the goal of giving the student a deep understanding of the guitar fretboard while learning how to express yourself. I cater my lessons to each student, for beginners start with learning open chords and chord progressions, for intermediate players I focus on learning major and minor diatonic scales in all positions, as well as their respective pentatonic scales and how to use these to build guitar solos.
