I was classically trained in trumpet when I was young and continued to play jazz and further my theory knowledge with that. So when I started guitar 6 years ago I had a solid background in music already which has increased since learning the guitar as well as other instruments.

I find that 1 on 1 teaching or very small group teaching works better. Then that allows me to really learn what each students strengths and weaknesses are. From that I can try to develop a way of learning that works for them.
