About Danh
I am currently a senior in high school and about to go to college. I’m currently taking AP Calculus BC and have done Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus AB, so I know how these courses are taught but that they often don’t touch on all their topics as clearly and easily. I was able to succeed in these courses by not only doing math in class, but also through my own strategies and techniques I’ve worked on outside of school. During my lessons, I make sure to take what I know is expected to be taught from the course and mix it with the tips that I’ve found helpful for my own success in math. I also do a lot of math in my free time (sometimes I do it a little too much lol). But I’ve had experience with all levels of math up to Calculus, and I hope to be able to share what I’ve learned and help you succeed in your classes and grow your math skills!

Ever feel like the way you’ve been taught a lesson just makes no sense? Or that you just end up memorizing things but don’t actually get what’s going on? The way I learn my math is by building from the bottom and going step by step. A good lesson not only tells you what you need to know, but why it works the way it does. While we do our lessons, I’ll guide you through the “why” behind the topics and really break down what we’re learning. I’ve always hated learning a topic but not knowing why it works or how to do it differently in the future. So that’s why I’ll be sure to hit the context and “background” of the math so that you don’t have to just memorize everything. I really look forward to helping you learn math and maybe get to love it as much as I do!
