About Falola
I see myself as an applied mathematician. My everyday job centers around using mathematics in solving real-world problems. I grew up as a student struggling with mathematics but I ended up earning two different university degrees in mathematics across two continents and finishing each with excellent grades. If I could learn the subject of mathematics and become good at it, I believe anyone, with the right guidance, can learn the subject and become a mathematics pro.

I see Mathematics as a language. Learning Mathematics to me, therefore, is just like learning to communicate in a new language - the more you practise the better you become. This affects the way I teach the subject. My students are learning a new language and I am guiding them through it.
