I think teaching styles are very individualistic. Providing a quiz at the beginning of the class will give the correct information for me to understand others' learning styles. Working in a group setting will also provide more feedback and learning during group conversations. I like to engage individuals in proactive conversations throughout the class to work through difficult topics together.
I am currently a graduate student at Samford University. I am getting an MSW. I have worked with all ages throughout the last two years from the internship experience. I personally like working with individuals who have different backgrounds and getting to know their stories.
There will be a cancelation fee of $15 or if not shown up within 15 minutes of the session will be charged for the whole time.
I will be graduating in May with my BA but currently taking graduate courses for my MSW (on a fast track). I have participated in an on-campus ministry for three years including being on the ministry team for one year. I have been in several internships over the past two years. These internships include working in a Juvenile court system, a child advocacy center, a daycare in a transitional house for women who have struggled with addiction, and adults who struggle with homelessness.
