About Nicole

I am a certified science and math teacher with 21 years of classroom experience teaching Grades K-12. I have led hundreds of hands-on labs, STEM activities, and inquiry-based science lessons, both in school and online. I specialize in making science engaging, accessible, and fun for learners of all levels.
My teaching style is clear, structured, and encouraging. I guide students through experiments step-by-step, help them predict and observe results, and support them in understanding the scientific concepts behind what they see. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, trying new ideas, and exploring science with confidence.
I have extensive experience working with small groups and know how to keep activities organized, interactive, and enjoyable. I am bilingual (English and French) and a mom of three, which helps me connect easily with diverse learners. My goal is to help students build curiosity, strong science skills, and a real love for learning.

My rate for GROUP classes is $45 per student per hour. Group size is a maximum of 4–5 students so that each learner receives individual attention while still benefiting from collaborative, hands-on activities. This rate includes: • weekly planning and preparation • experiment instructions sent in advance • supply lists using simple household materials • step-by-step support during the lab • after-class guidance if students have questions All group lessons are taught live online using safe, engaging experiments designed for Grades 6–8.
