About Emily
I graduated from Purdue University on the Dean's List. As a student, I was a teaching aide, lab instructor, and tutor for many courses including; Introduction to Animal Sciences, Biology, AP Writing, Food Science, Calculus, and Algebra. After my career in research, I attended Nursing School and completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in one year. I tutored many students to help them pass the NCLEX. Several nurses who had already taken the NCLEX and needed a second attempt to pass. I am adept in deciphering the NCLEX questions and can help you with your course exams and NCLEX prep! I have been a very successful ICU nurse for over 10 years and have precepted many highly successful nurses! I have a passion for teaching with kindness and understanding that will create an intelligent, competent, and confident nurse!

I have ten years of experience in peds, ICU, Cardiac, CVICU, PICU, Heart Failure, ECMO, Kidney Failure, CCRT/AKRT, and general nursing.
I was a math scholar, so I am an asset anywhere from pre-algebra to calculus.
I taught as a lab instructor and teaching assistant at Purdue University for 3 years in Biology, Animal Science, Anatomy, and AP Writing. I have a passion for teaching and helping students succeed!
