About Samantha
Hello! My name is Sam, and I currently reside in Austin, Texas with my fiancé and two dogs! I am hard of hearing myself with a Bachelor of Arts in Interpreting from Gallaudet University, and will be working on my Masters in Social Work at Gallaudet this coming Fall. I am very light hearted and easy going, and love working with people!

I have a passion in tutoring individuals who may need assistance in American Sign Language. I have a very visual, hands on approach to tutoring, but aim to match learning styles individually. I have the ability to tutor children of all ages (even babies and toddlers!) as well as college ASL classes levels 1-4. I have a knowledgeable background in Deaf culture as well as Interpreting, so I am able to help tutor future interpreters as well as people learning about Deaf culture. I am very committed to all my students to make sure they get the most out of their time with me. All sessions will be virtual unless you are local. I would love to work with you!
