About Ann

I am someone who is really hardworking, during high school I dedicated myself to understanding my own working style and I started to love and enjoy learning. I knew what worked for me. I have received a full scholarship for the school of my dreams and have acquired many strategies and habits that have allowed me to accomplish my goals and develop studying strategies that helped me succeed. I believe in the importance of organization, and of understanding your learning style and of working smarter not harder.

I have experience tutoring students, from high school giving Spanish clases and being a math and science tutor. I was also a personal tutor for several students, overall helping them manage school works and homework and helping them stay in track. I believe that motivation is really important, I want to motivate students for them to organize themselves and be able to develop strategies that help them excel.

I believe that many times students get stuck because of the way a lesson is taugh, not because they are not able to undertand.

I also believe that test taking skills can be developed and many students might understand, but, are not good test takers. I personally was not the best test taker and develop strategies to help me succeed.

About the lesson

Lessons that would allow students to learn instead of memorize . I work personally with each student to develop a strategy based on their learning style. Each student learns differently and finding the method that works best will make learning fun for them. I want them to be passionate about what they learn and understand their strengths and weaknesses. I personally understand that ever kid thinks differently, I want to make education personalized and enjoyable.
