About Djin
I am 27 years old. I am currently applying to graduate programs after working for a year on building a small fusion experiment with a DOE national lab.
I went through my undergrad almost entirely remotely due to transferring from a community college at the start of COVID, so I understand how to teach and learn remotely. I am also available to meet in person if you live in the Portland OR area.
I am friendly and considerate! I would like to be part time employed as a tutor because not only do I enjoy the topics we would be exploring, but because I enjoy interacting with people, and I know that no matter the subject we are all capable of learning if we are given the right opportunity with the right people.

I have a lot of experience interacting with children 6-14.
I enjoy science and love being able to explore other people's learning styles.
I put in work outside of lessons to make sure that I am prepared and understand what a clients specific needs may be.
I am available for tutoring math and science topics from a Middle School to a Lower Division Undergraduate Level. That includes: algebra, geometry, and calculus classes as well as intro to chemistry, intro to physics, electricity and magnetism, quantum mechanics, and nuclear physics.
If you have a textbook, or an example of your homework, and if you identify what you are struggling with in broad or specific terms, I can properly evaluate how exactly I can help.
I can also help with test prep for any standardized tests or any midterms that fall anywhere under the above mentioned topics.
I can tailor my teaching style to all ages, and all the various learning styles.
