About Emily
I started my own musical journey on the violin at age 7. As a teenager I started playing the double bass and I am now a professional double bassist, but I never strayed too far from my violin roots! At the Eastman School of Music, I was a double major in music performance and music education, and I focused my studies on learning to teach stringed instruments. I have taught violin in several contexts including public school and private lessons. I would love to help you reach your full musical potential!
