Learning to play music is much more than just learning a musical instrument. It teaches students co-ordination, concentration, confidence and self discipline. They learn how to set realistic goals for themselves and focus their attention and energy . learning an instrument is also an effective tool for people with learning issues such as Dyslexia, ADHD, etc, as it teaches them how to focus on the task at hand . Playing music is a wonderful way for them to release energy in a positive manner
