About Arpitha
I started teaching when I was in school. Being academically bright students, I used to teach my friends, and later I started visiting NGOs and orphanages to help kids there to learn better. Hence I always learned and taught. I enjoy the process very much. I started my career as a developer because I felt I can teach better if I myself have to solve real-world problems using coding. The combination of these two, teacher and developer gives me a unique way of teaching. I will ensure that my students learn a lot and become independent learners.

Since I have taught online before, I know the pros and cons. I have taught in groups and also one on one. Based on my experience I have worked on my methods.
I will always be prepared before the class with referral notes and classwork and homework that I have to assign to students. I begin with the topic premise of that specific class and once I have taught for a while I will assign a task to students to solve by themselves. I will be there to solve any doubts during the task. Since programming comes with them actually programming. Solving exercises are very important.
My intention as a teacher is to make my students independent learners. And programming is a largely growing community, there are lots of communities online (Ex: Stackoverflow) that helps developers to tackle the problems. As a programmer, one should learn how to make use of those communities and also how to google. I teach the ways to make use of the online community to my students so that once they learn the basics they can be independent learners.
As a developer, I take a lot of help from the online community to tackle the problems I face every day at my work. Also, I keep learning new coding languages, frameworks, and libraries. I would like to impart the same to my students.
