I have been a Spanish tutor for 10 months at Meredith College. I also have been teaching EFL to women in Costa Rica. I am a Spanish major looking to go into education in the future!
Methodology
My teaching approach is I let the students teach me what they know first. Sometimes if the student teaches to me first they automatically see where they went wrong. If they do not teach the subject correctly or don’t remember how, that is when I know what I have to help them out with.
Background
I am a student, tutor, teacher! I love helping others and seeing students understand what they are having trouble with. I believe students know everything, sometimes they just need a little extra help! I want students to know they are not alone and can receive help whenever they wish and never feel like they do not know.

It was a pleasure having Gaby as my Spanish tutor. Her knowledge of the subject material is evident and rivaled only by her enthusiasm to teach others. She was helpful in refreshing me on elementary concepts while enhancing my knowledge of advanced content and grammar. She went above and beyond to provide me with extra practice upon my request and referred me to useful outside sources to aid me in my learning journey.
Gaby is a fantastic Spanish tutor. She went at a good pace and was very patient. She also had great practice materials that really helped me grasp the consents.
