About Tad
Although many French teachers focus on grammar and the mechanics of the language, my emphasis is on topics that will help you actually speak about what you want in French. Want to talk about your family? That’s a topic. Want to learn about what you’ll need to say at a restaurant? That could be important, too. What about if you get hurt? What to say to paramedics or to a doctor if you don’t feel quite right? That’s a topic as well.
My goal is to make the language real!

I can tailor lessons to your needs: If you’re looking to pass a standard exam such as the AP French, IB French, or CLEP Exam in French, I can help. I am a “Table Leader” for the French AP Exam, meaning I teach other teachers how to grade the exam. There are only about 20 of us annually nationwide.
I can also help if you just want to expand your knowledge in French or become fluent yourself.
