I have been a teacher of multiple subjects on Asia for 23 years. Plus 3 years online teaching experience. 3/4 of a masters degree is education finished and a teaching license for Thailand. Around 8 years of teaching math from grade 1 through grade 8

I like to have students try to figure things out for themselves first and help thrm along the way as we work through it together initially. For student work, the students do the work themselves. I check it when completed but I only circle the mistakes the first time and let the students go back and try to fix the mistakes themselves. If there are still mistakes or misunderstanding, then we work through the problem areas again together. I strongly believe in learning to be an autonomous learner so students can learn to look for and fix mistakes on their own.
