About the lesson

I have been teaching for just over 10 years, 6 of those in Year 6! I am part of the slt at school with lead responsibilities in English. Recently I have become a LA writing moderator for KS2 and have worked with the authority to establish good practise in reading.
I am one of those lucky people who have a job that I love and look forward to going to every day. The children that I teach come from underprivileged and challenging backgrounds and I love seeing them achieve things that they never thought was possible. I strive to make every day as interesting and challenging as possible with lots of fun added in, especially in Year 6 where the children are expected to do so much.

I have 3 children of my own, varying ages and try to instill in them the positive attitude about life that will see them achieve and enjoy whatever they do.

I have very high expectations and believe that all children have the ability to do well.
