Spanish
I focus on pronunciation and understanding especially since English has so many pronunciations locally. I try to ensure the students learn the midwestern accents, but do not overlook the other national accents. I.have them watch mini clips of movies where I control what they hear and we have discussions of what we have watched to see what it is that is understood. I also listen to songs of their choosing so they can enjoy the songs more and understand the lyrics. I teach all levels.
