About Padmini Kumari
Hi my name is Padmini Kumari Pradhan from Odisha, I hold a Master’s degree in Performing Arts with a specialization in Odissi Dance from Sri Sri University. I have been practicing Folk dances from a young age and am skilled in folk forms from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha. I have also explored Bollywood and Contemporary styles through performances and workshops. I have won several dance competitions at prestigious institutions including IIT Kharagpur, Birla Global University, National Law University, IIIT Bhubaneswar and many more. I became Dance Convener and Instructor at Sri Sri University Dance Club 2024-2025.

I focus on building a strong foundation in technique while encouraging individual expression. I combine traditional teaching methods with creative and interactive approaches. Each class typically begins with warm-up and basic exercises. I also explain the cultural and historical background of the dance items to enrich learning. My classes are adaptable for school children, college students, and adults, based on their level and interest.
