About Russell
I am 18 years old and I realize that doesn’t inspire confidence when trying to find a teacher. But I am currently working as a professional artist receiving actual commissions that go up to $600 . I am certainly not an amateur and have been drawing since my hands could move. Around 16-17 years maybe.
Im a self taught artist but have been taking piano classes and have had 6 different teachers over 15 years of learning. Over these years I was able to recognize what makes a good teacher and what makes a bad one. If you hire me I highly value being patient and not getting frustrated. And Making the experience fun and positive. Although I will not shy away from constructive criticism. It is fundamental to making a good artist and is what has made me the artist I am today.

Art is not a very hard thing to do. Yes it does take lots of practice but like riding a bike once you get it you never forget.
I will begin teaching you what I believe are the most important aspects of drawing and painting.

And once we get those solid we can start diving into other aspects such as proportion and anatomy. Along with other art forms.
Many people think you need perfect proportions and perfect anatomy to make a drawing look realistic. But the truth is all you need are the 3 things listed above. Just look at any cartoon. They still look good even though their proportions are way off.

Details
If the class is an hr or shorter my price is $20 before the transportation fee. Anything after an hr will be the standard $16/hr. So 2 hrs= $32 not $20+$16
If you find me another client I’ll cut the transportation cost. If you prefer driving yourself I’ll give 50% off the second class.
