About Elizabeth
I graduted high school a year early as an honors student. I’m currently getting my AA for transfer at Citrus College and hoping to get into Azusa Pacific on a scholarship I recently submitted my application for! I have always been passionate about learning. Every summer I pick up something new whether it be painting, piano, or French. It’s the thrill of learning something new that I love. As a tutor I get that same satisfaction in seeing others learning something they didn’t know or understand before. I love to see the moment it clicks and the pace picks up and everything starts to flow. I bring my energy, my passion, and my compassion to every session. I’ve been employed by my family and fellow students throughout high school to tutor others. This will be my first time looking to be employed professionally as a tutor. In my experience, I’m very versatile. Iv’e worked with many students and kids who are not neurotypical. I have a lot of patience and experience in helping with focus and motivation. I see tutoring as teamwork!

I like to make things fun. I have 3 years experience working with special needs kids. And I have 10 years experience in tutoring. I will bring energy and focus in to the session. Versatility and compassion are my strong suit. I like to match the pace of the student or client I am working with and work to maximize their strengths. I have worked to teach learning, communication and self advocacy skills to special needs kids ages 2-10. I have been privately hired to tutor kids in early high school through preschool for academic assistance in Math and English.
