About Monica
As a high school tutor I will be as professional as I can to accompany the needs of a student. Struggling on a subject can be difficult and feel so uncomfortable. I acknowledge how a student may feel and use that to find a way to make it easier and much more clear. I really do enjoy helping students out when it comes to math because it can always be mastered.

As a tutor I hope to find the student's weakest areas and to build and improve from there. A typical lesson plan would include looking at the topic or subject given. Next, to go over each problem separately. Then, if he/she gets stuck I will provide assistance step by step. At the end (sometimes) there will be a quick quiz to check for improvement. The lesson plan can be altered based on the student's needs. These lessons can be for elementary school students (K-5 math), middle school students (pre algebra and algebra 1), and 9th and 10th graders (algebra 1).
